Got your modded 910 up on a stand tonight and ran it through its paces. I am stunned.
Not just because this is coming out of a mic that was an MXL in its past life, but just how amazing, open and transparent it sounds. One of the most flattering, yet honest microphones I’ve ever heard at any price point. My WarmAudio TB12 took to it instantly - a great combination of a bell-clear Neumann-esque top end with some API “kush” underneath it.
I’ll be returning for a pair of SDC’s soon. I’m blown away. Thanks! |
