I\'ve had the VintageVoice\'d MJE-v250 for about 5-6 months now. For the price YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG! Very smooth transient response! Paired with my RME Babyface pre it sounds so full, with a smooth high-end. I use this mic mainly for hip-hop and R&B vocals and I find myself using it in EVERY session. The internal components that were replaced are also soldered very cleanly. I am VERY IMPRESSED with this microphone, and I would love to try more modded mics from Michael Joly in the near future! |
