I finally had my Oktava MC012\'s modded a few months back. The upgrade has seriously improved the versatility of these mics, easily putting them on par with or surpassing an AKG c451b, pertaining to clarity, smoothness and punch.
Very quiet and very rich sounding. Thanks again for your work Michael! The mics are now perfect for capturing the detail of acoustic guitar playing, the finesse of a drum kit, even vocals in some instances. Very nice. |
