Helped out at an acoustic session (2 guitars, three vocalists) today with one of the engineers from Smart Studios and a new startup internet production company (low cost recordings and videos, mostly Christian bands) and used the RSM-4 to track guitars in a live setting.
Used it for a Taylor 6 string (514) and 12 string and it just killed. Sat perfectly in the mix, gave us more sparkle and definition than a second generation AKG 414 BLS that we were tracking the other acoustic with.
The production company picked up to of the RSM4s and the engineer picked up another, and as soon as they can scrape the cash together they'll be sending in their mics for modding. Now if I can just pry mine out of their hands...
